Employee Spotlight: Chris Woods Completes the Tour du Mont Blanc Cyclo 2026

Everyone at FLI CAP Technology would like to congratulate Chris Woods, Divisional Director, on successfully completing the Tour du Mont Blanc Cyclo 2026, one of Europe’s most demanding one-day cycling events.

Held on 11 July 2026, the event challenges riders to complete an extraordinary circuit around the Mont Blanc massif, crossing France, Switzerland and Italy while tackling some of Europe’s most iconic mountain climbs.

Chris completed the challenge in an impressive 17 hours, covering:

• 330 kilometres
• 8,400 metres of elevation
• Three countries
• Seven mountain cols, including famous Tour de France climbs

The event is recognised as one of the toughest endurance cycling challenges in Europe, demanding months of preparation, determination and resilience.

The same qualities that helped Chris complete this remarkable challenge are reflected in his role at FLI CAP Technology, where he leads the delivery of complex industrial wastewater treatment projects and supports the continued growth of the business.
